They turned the lights out at half because of a fire or something in town with Marion up 41-6 at half. Mercy rule was in affect for the second half. This is believed to be the oldest rivalry in the state and South Pittsburg had won 8 in a row before last night. Marion will have a bye first round of playoffs.

This is awesome. I graduated from MCHS in 07, so this is a big deal. SP had pretty much dominated us (and everybody) for a long time. It's nice to finally see MC doing well, especially after everything that happened last year.

Hoping for a long MC run in the playoffs! Go Warriors!

I think Marion goes to the title game. Not sure they win, but they're the best team on their half of the bracket.
