Marijuana -vs- Alcohol

Alcohol is so much better than weed. Of course this is my opinion and here are a few reasons why I think so...

-for one, marijuana is illegal most places in the U.S. so you are always taking that risk.

-marijuana is one of the most psychologically addictive drugs in the world, which sucks. Especially trying to quit after you do it everyday for a while. Talk about some irritability.

-marijuana can make you just want to sit there and watch tv and not do anything which could make you a recluse.

-a lot of hot nice females don't like dudes that smoke weed and consider them losers but on the other hand they love to go out for a few drinks.

Alcohol > Weed (and it's not very close... at all)

which do you like better?

depends what youre goal is... hang out with the guys either is a cool option.... going to a bar to pick up women... alcohol is the choice

Why do you think it is illegal as opposed to alcohol being legal? Pretty sure it hasn't caused harm or death to 100,000's of people.

No, it isn't. I'd rather be in a room full of stoners or in a car with one driving than in the same situation with drunks. My chances of survival seem much greater.

Also, I agree that it can be addictive. I think it depends on the person. I'm not anymore but I know I was for a while. Like I was constantly hitting up my dealer anytime I was about to run out. If I couldn't get a hold of him, I was looking nonstop for it. And annoying the hell out of people "Do you have it yet" - 2 hours later, "What about now" lol. It's been a while since I was that way but I do recall it happening and I've known other people like that. Again, I think it depends on the person and personality. People get addicted to food, porn, video games etc. Of course they can get addicted to weed. There are also plenty of alcoholics though. Probably more so than potheads.

When I picture alcohol I think of Frank Sinatra holding a Jack and coke. The rat pack. Cool guys I admire.

When I picture weed I think of snoop dogg, welfare recepients, minimum wage workers.

It's why option number three is the best ... cocaine.

It's wall street, 80's, hot chicks, miami vice, ferrari, john belushi rolled into one.

so if your going to do drugs kids ... do what the cool kids do.

go out with a less than zero dead guy in the 50's corvette bang.

I think I've heard that but I was speaking psychologically. People get addicted to sex because it feels good. So of course some people will get addicted to weed because it feels good. Like you said, it may not be physically addictive but it can certainly be addictive. It's a mood enhancer and makes you feel good. It also depends on the person. Some people just naturally have addictive personalities. I'd say the odds of getting addicted to weed are higher than a lot of things though. Heck, some people get addicted to couponing. I know which thing I'd rather do and it's not couponing lol
