Seeing several.rumors floating around on Twitter stating Marcus Tatum quit the team. None that I saw from legit source to actually share. But enough worth noting.

After seeing that I noticed Jay Blakeley LB/DE tweeted "just when I thought it couldn't get worse"

He's protected but I've been following him forever so I was able to see it. But couldn't retweet.

He was very vocal about his disappointment in Vol fans. Said the empty Neyland movement was extremely disheartening to the team. Looks like we’re killing the team- but hey, at least we’re making a statement, right ?

If that made him quit then I can't believe he's a right tackle. Wow! Empty Neyland should make them want to play harder to show what they can do.

Well, he isn’t the only one on the team with this view. Rival coaches apparently now using it in recruiting tactics. Tatum is close friends with Bria and they were discussing it at lunch. It’s not sitting well with folks.

Who is Bria? The line has been pillow fighting all year except Smith. They need to check themselves before they get their feelings hurt. Are they really giving their all for Tennessee?

He's a victim? Whatever! He's a scholarship football player for Tennessee! That's a privilege I would kill to have! Get over yourself.

When all our recruits are ran off and the new coach signs a bunch of walk ons and left overs, we’ll see just how patient TN fans can be.

Another innocent victim of the movement. The players, the children fans refuse to give their boycott tickets to, and the waitress at the local eatery that will miss her usual tips.

Even after the release of the story about a tweet of a rumor UT generated to satisfy the. Participants of the boycott.

Movement = boycott

The outrage is real.

I want Butch gone as much as anyone! I am a Tennessee fan and will go to games when I can whoever is coaching. We all need to move on from this garbage we are watching on Saturday and start playing football!

Record probably wouldn't be any different than it is now. At least we'd have the hope of the next coach not turning out to be a failure relative to expectations as CBJ has proven himself to be.

I simply cannot believe people think empty neyland is a good idea.

I understand both sides of the issue. You’d think the athletic director would want to stomp out the fire though. To me, it seems like the AD could care less about what the fans want which is a slap in the face to the many hard working families who pay good money to attend and watch the team that they love. If the AD was in the same financial state as the many fans that attend the games, he would agree.

Blaming the players for losses.

Wow.

:eek:lol: I can coach someone to block someone to the whistle. Some accountability is on the players. Ask John Kelly and Josh Smith. They have said exactly the same thing. Believe me I want new coaches to coach them but they have to play ball.

I personally don't have a post in the empty Neyland forum. I would go to the game if I could. Currie needs to step in and do something. This fan base is hungry!
