I'm not discounting injuries.
Butch's best line was the one Dooley left him. Most those guys have played and are still playing in the NFL. Butch has not recruited the same level of o-lineman. this is year 4. he has signed large he classes without signing an appropriate # of lineman. Especially when u consider attrition.

There was an entire recruiting class where Dooley didn't sign one offensive lineman. 2012 You left that out. BS!
And only 3 of the 22 from class 2012 are left on the roster.

2013 Sanders, Wisemsn and Kendrick. Jones had two months to get that class.

2014 Blair was ranked 8 at his position. With Thomas, Robertson (started at DT) Raulerson (gone).

That's our line with Jones and Hall.

Dooleys missed recruiting year hurt our O-line bad!

It hurt. which is why Jones should have been that much more intentional about recruniting Olinemen. He's had 4 recruiting classes. And, as already pointed out he only has 1 commit at this point.

Yeah I think Tatum would have. They are very high on him.

They were never high on Blair.

We lost 3 guys that could be tackle. Thats is a lot! For any team. Even Bama would have been hurting.

Reallt? burn a redshirt of a true freshmen with his 1st experience coming again #1 Bama.

"Hey kid, we're high on you. let's burn your redshirt and throw you to the wolves."

Kiffin (who I loathe) was able to get productive play out of walk on Sullins boys. I guess with butch, they are either high on you, or you will never, ever, ever see the field.

And what about the skill positions? So he should have just ignored QB RB and WR? Like I said earlier in the thread its lose lose till the cupboard is full again. Of all the things to complain about you pick recruiting?!

If he did prioritize linemen people like yourself would be complaining that we don't have any decent running backs to take advantage of our incredible O line. And you absolutely refuse to recognize just how empty our talent pool had become.

You have to love false dichotomies.
Yes, that's what I'm saying. he should have signed 32 Olinemen in 2014. If you're going to say idiotic things, don't be upset when I treat you like one. Do your research.
How bout this. Do you think Butch could have better allocated schollies that went to these players in 13 and 14? A simple yes or no, will

AJ Bransiel
Jalen Miller
Riyadh Jones
Woody Quinn
Alphonsus Carter
Jakob Johnson

There's several more, but you get the idea.

What is "deep" in your eyes?

Blair didnt work out. Okay.

We still had 6 other guys that play tackle.

Hall
Thomas
Kendrick
Richmond
Tatutm
Nehiulus (sp)

Edwards ( Walk- on)

There are two OT positions on any offense. Is 6 players not enough???

If we had 10 OTs... and 8 got injured, were not deep before the injuries???

We had 3 players all of a sudden that no longer could play tackle because of injuries before we decided to play to Tatum.

I don't know what else to say. What is deep to you?

22 positions on the field
6 for each position is 132 players...

We had 7 (Edwards) guys that could play tackle after Blair transferred.

It is not a false dichotomy. And you have yet acknowledge the 2012 class void of linemen when you invoked the Dooley O line argument.

I do not doubt there are "several more" as I seriously doubt you will be happy with the program and will always find something to ***** about.

Perhaps you should go down to the ath dept and offer your services?
