Recently on 'Deep Sleepers Emerge from SE'-7/31 & he featured in 'National Select 7-on7 top 10', rankings in at #5, which is very impressive. Vol LB prospect Marlon Walls ranked in at #10.

He has a high jump of 6 feet, 8 inches. No leader at this point. Offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, & Indiana. I like what they're saying about this guy, Tennessee could end up offering soon.

Paraphrase from Rivals: Marcus was the suprise of the 7-on-7 event. Sitting at 6-foot-3, 180, he showed a tremendous ability to get separation from defensive backs, excellent speed and great hands during the course of the event. Also showed ability to get open deep and make adjustments on long passes, catching several long touchdowns during Whitehaven's run to the quarterfinals. Many schools, including Ole Miss, now know about Rucker, but expect more to jump in the mix before all is said and done.

just shows you that Rivals isnt all knowing, great talent slips through the cracks all the time...love the leaping ability. Alvin Harper was a high jump champion if I remember correctly.

is the bball signing day before fball signing day because ive been noticing a lot of folks, including myself, have been worrying more about the 08 class for bball than the 08 class for fball...

There are 2 signing periods for basketball. One is in November, when most prospects will sign, but there is another in late spring/early summer. The football signing period is in Februrary.
