taylor has been phenomenal this year. i'll be glad to have him back in '08 along with the rest of our receiving core.

THE overachiever of the year was the O-line. They were much maligned coming in and ended up being one of the better units in the nation.

Over: O-Line and all the WRs, especially Taylor. I still think Rogers drops too many passes though.

Under: The team and coaching, especially the defense, in Rivalry Games.

eric berry has had a good year for the most part.
defenisve coaching could have definatley been better.

Overacheivers-Taylor, Berry,Foster, Rogan, Lincoln. I wouldn't call Berry an overacheiver because I almost expected this from him.

Underacheivers-Mapu, Mitchell,Kessling,Ainge,HEFFNEY,Fulmer and staff.I also probably shouldn't put Fulmer and staff here because I've come to expect it from them.

The D in my book is the biggest let down by far. I expected much more especially in big games. Getting humiliated by FL on national tv was terrible.

I guess the wr's have been a nice surprise. We were very unsure of what we had, and for the most part they stepped up. Sure they had some drops, but they were much better than I expected.

Based on what? After Saturday he'll have over 3,000 yards and most likely 30 td's.

We dont seem to have the HEART that we have had in past years... Its hard to realize that they
are just kids... And most of them dont understand the Tennessee tradition... Maybe if
they were raised in TN and understood the pride and tradition they we have it might be different.. But it all boils down to is coaching!!!!!!!!!

I'll probably get blasted for saying so, but I think Fulmer has done a very good job this year keeping the team focused after a rough start. Overacheiving though? Maybe not. Underachieving, I don't think so.

Ainge has also very quietly had a great year and has made the O-line look better than maybe they really are by avoiding some sacks.

Dan Williams and of course Eric Berry are really coming on strong and I'm really looking forward to seeing them develop.

Ayers and Reynolds have done some good things...

Underachievers... Mapu is probably top of my list given his sophomore season. But the general lack of performance of the D-Line consistency in big games has been hard to watch and far below what I'd want out of them.
