Manny Pacquiao: I'm suing Floyd Mayweather Jr. for defamation - ESPN

According to Arum and Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, the main issue is an assurance that blood testing will be cut off at an agreed-upon point before the fight, specifically a guarantee that there would be no testing in the final few days before the bout; USADA would not guarantee that. Pacquiao agreed to submit to unlimited urine testing.

I don't know a lot about PEDs, but is there really anything that he could take in the final few days that would give him an advantage?

I have mixed feelings, at first I thought Pac was taking something, now I'm starting to believe Mayweather is just trying to dodge the fight.

I don't think Pac has more power then Mosley, and Mayweather took a couple of good shots from Mosley without getting knocked down. I think Mayweather would win, simply by being more active, being the better boxer.

The intriguing question is, who is the quicker fighter. After watching Pac vs Hatton and Mosley vs Mayweahter, I would say Pac but not by much. That's what makes this fight so interesting.

Manny is fighing Anonio Margarito in the spring, I guess Paul Williams or Andre Berto were considered too dangerous by Arum and company.

Well not too long ago Margarito was considered one of the most feared fighters at his weight so it won't be Manny's easiest fight ever, but I still see Manny winning.

Berto and Williams were considered to have the wrong promoters by Arum and Co. Manny vs. Margo means Arum keeps 100%. Williams or Berto would mean a split of that 100% between either Goosen or DiBella.

Marquez looked good last night. Controlled the fight from the 1st bell. Does he fight Manny next?

Marquez looked good last night.

He did look pretty good but he should have, Diaz hasn't looked good in a while. He wanted to not get KO'ed this time so bad that he showed little aggression, which just made it easier for JMM to dominate to an easy decision.

Does he fight Manny next?

He'd probably give up one of his kids to make that fight but Manny won't do it. Unless a miracle happens with Floyd, Manny's path appears to be Margarito next, a Cotto rematch, and them retirement. The only way it would ever happen would be for Manny to set all the stipulations and have it set at a catchweight that would heavily favor Pac. Add on to that Bob Arum's apparent new approach of Top Rank figher vs. Top Rank fighter to keep 100% of promotions and the fight looks even less likley.

JMM should stay down in his weight and fight Katsidis but at this stage in his career, that probably isn't a big enough purse for him so that fight probably won't ever happen either.
