Mandel's bowl projections

South Carolina better beat clemson, or they'll end up either with no bowl or some west coast minor bowl or maybe that weird bowl in Boise Idaho on the blue field.

I hope we prove all the projections wrong and end up in the sugar bowl

That would be great. The good news is that LSU is beatable. They have been very fortunate not to have more than one loss, gotta beat KY first though! :pinch:

I agree, I think LSU is ripe for the picking. Especially with alot of the focus on whether they coach is going to stick around or not. We get by UK, I think we have a shot at LSU.

No way the loser of TN/KY game makes it to a New Year's day bowl as suggested by Mandel.

LSU is definitely beatable. The Vols are much more beatable. we'll need Flynn to play like Flynn and the couple of big plays we've missed all season.

In order to win we gotta get there first....

I am with you though if Dorsey is out, I like our chances....Hes the heart and soul of that defense...Flynn is average at best, if Russel would have stayed one more year they would be unstoppable...Ryan Perilloux (sp) is a threat though....

With all that said, I smell an upset this weekend with Arky...

I thought I read somewhere that the Cotton/Peach/Outback are each required to host the SEC runner-up once every four years and one of those is due this year (Outback if I remember correctly).

Man, I hope you're wrong. Assuming we take care of our own business, I don't want a ticked-off LSU team coming into ATL. I much prefer the "big headed" tiger team.

LSU has a whole lot going on right now...Miles hasnt exactly said that he is geaux tiger through and through...I think they are the best team in the country but, that doesnt mean that they will get there...DMAC will have his last chance to impress the nation on national tv...If Ole Miss put up 400+ yards against them, Dmac may have 250 by hisself....Never can tell

I agree that LSU is beatable. But we need to beat UK first. The last thing I want to do is continue hearing this crap down here in GA that we'll lose to UK, UGA beats LSU at the Dome and then plays Ohio State for the title.

Crap- indeed. I keep telling them Dawgs that they are still butthurt from that beat down we gave them for a second year in a row. That'll shut um up.

Tennessee v. Hawaii in the Sugar Bowl---ideal scenario. 3 days of nonstop partying followed by easy, blowout win over a weak team!!!

Hawaii doesnt deserve to get a BCS game but, since Notre Dame can't this year I guess they will give it to them...

if Hawaii wins this Saturday, it will be tough to deny them their shot. Seems a little like Boise State last year to me.... i'm just sayin.

Boise State cut its way through a bad schedule last year like Jack the Ripper slicing up a dozen prostitutes. Hawaii's schedule this year has been even worse than Boise's was last year, but they've still had to be very lucky to go undefeated against it: overtime against LA Tech and San Jose State, a last second field-goal against Nevada, etc. They're much less impressive right now than Boise was at this point last year. Seriously, at least 10 SEC teams would be undefeated right now if they'd played Hawaii's schedule.

Their delusional if they think they are going to play for the NC. A few teams outside of the SEC would have to lose for that to happen.
