Pfff. Look at his record as a head coach, and here at UT specifically. You'd be calling for his head after every game. That's not exactly anything new for you, though.

His team's would be terrible. The illegal recruiting things that he did here were just crazy. He didn't care about Tennessee. The way he left shows that. Be that as it may, he hasn't ever been a good HC. In college and the NFL. How he got that job in LA is beyond ridiculous.

Exactly, he's a weasel. He's a decent OC and that's it. He'll never land another head coaching job at a P5 school again, and if he does they're either extremely desperate or flat out stupid.

He followed Fulmer here so he had some pretty good players compared to Jones. Yet he went 7-6.

The only thing I wish we did that I saw during his time is to roll our pocket. I think It would help hide our line.

Outside of that I was sick of trying to become the USC of the east and Lane selling himself, not our program.

With the number of 5* athletes Bama has, it's not hard to be seen as a great offensive coordinator. He wasn't so great here though. 7-6, if you remember. We never should have hired him in the first place. At the time I thought it was a bad hire, and it proved to be true.

Dont really understand this comment. Kiffin made Crompton turn a complete 180 and Hardesty had more than 1000 yards on the ground that year.

There were a few growing pains early on, but it was a decent year offensively considering what he inherited.
