I don’t wish an injury upon anyone but I’m glad he’s not playing Saturday night.

Hope he has a quick recovery.

Malik Davis emerged as arguably Florida's best offensive weapon this past year. As a freshman, Davis rushed for 526 yards in just half of the season. He sustained a knee injury in the Georgia game which held him out of the next 5 games. Davis will return as a sophomore and look to continue his success as the workhorse back in Mullen's offense.

Now Mullen and the Gators will turn to his other talented running backs to take up his reps. In addition to Jordan Scarlett and Lamical Perine, Dameon Pierce could see himself being added into the rotation.
The true freshman running back has already earned his reputation on special teams and on Saturday recorded his first touchdown in his college career, after rushing 68-yards to the endzone.

Looks like UF will get some players back for our game:

although Davis will not suit up in Florida's game against Tennessee, Mullen expects linebacker David Reese and defensive back CJ McWilliams to return. However, defensive back Shawn Davis remains questionable for the team's first road game of the season.

Game 1: Charleston Southern - 6 carries, 38 yards, 6.3 avg (long of 16), 1 rec for 8 yards
Game 2: Kentucky - 4 carries, 15 yards, 3.8 avg (long of 10), 2 rec for 25 yards
Game 3: Colorado State - 3 carries, 8 yards, 2.7 avg (long of 3), 0 rec

They ain't exactly losing Fred Taylor.

No but in the past the Vols defense tended to make someone an all American. Hope that changes now!

I was going to respond with a typical cliche. But suddenly realized how VNish that would be. We argue that we can't beat them because it's in the players heads. Yet, look at us

I'd rather face them at 100%.

Hate it for the kid.
No team is rarely 100%, he won't be the reason they win or lose. Everybody has injuries and while I hate it for him personally we have had more than enough so excuse me if I don't cry. Football is a game where injuries are a part of it, never used it as a excuse nor is it a excuse for them either. GBO!!!!!

He was productive for them last year before injury, sucks for the kid though
Perine looked better to me the little I have watched them, they are like us they have running backs. It will not be the determining factor in the game for sure. They are also getting players back as well. GBO!
