I think John Adams should be on the hot seat. This is some great reading. KNS needs some positve articles for VOL fans. Not the doom and gloom it has become.

Is this the same writer who blogs on The Bleacher Report and wrote Kiffin's apology to Urban Meyer?

Creative and well written. Puts many of the other "experts" writings to shame.

I think the article, for the most part, is waaaaay off base. The title "Making Sense of All the Hate" is IMHO inaccurate.....I do not believe there is a "hate" for Kiffin the individual. Here is the real deal:

As for Vol Fans:
I can only speak for myself, but I don't "hate" Kiffin. I HATE THE FACT HE WAS HIRED! The man never, ever should have been given an interview (except maybe for an AC job). It isn't because he has been successful at a young age (which I would disagree with), or because he has a beautiful wife (which I wouldn't disagree with), it is simply because HE IS NOT QUALIFIED to be the HC of the Vols. Period. I want to win, and he doesn't have the leadership skills to get it done.
If there is someone I "hate" at this point, it would be MH. When Kiffin goes, he should follow.

For Non-Vol Fans:
I can't speak for them, but my sense is that they don't hate him.....they just enjoy ridiculing him. They see him for what he is.......a guy that has never earned a job based solely on his ability. Yet he stands in the pulpit and talks as if he is God's gift to the CF world. Most Vol fans want to believe that they (opposing coaches and fans) "fear" him.....but if you CAN be honest with yourself, you have to ask the question, "what exactly are they suppose to be afraid of?". What has LK ever done in his life to instill fear in any opponent?

As for ESPN:
It's ESPN. What else is new?
