Making a u-turn

On a rural, low access, 4 lane road with a center turning lane, how far past a "no u-turn" sign must you be to make a u-turn in Tennessee? Right past the sign there are diagonal yellow lines on the road in the center lane. They stop about 100 feet past the sign. After that it is your typical turning lane, solid yellow on right, dotted yellow on left.
