Make fun of safe space university

Yeah, which is why you should find a hobby.

Crimson stained one?

Did you leave the last of your sense of humor in the tinkle wicket?

Apparently, the socio-political junkies just can't keep their discourse within the lines, Joe. They've just gotta pick up old posts and drag this thread back into nanner nanner boo boo. Frankly, they could all use a big bowl of double-you-tee-eff absurdity. Sorry to have failed you, buddy. Another time. :hi:

My intention for this thread was the same as the others I've started, to make fun of who we're playing. I had no clue using safe space would turn it into political fussing. It's something they'll always be made fun of for. For those who honestly think the words "safe space " are racist or whatever, please seek help, or a safe space of your own.

The WHOLE point of comedy is to often to make light of serious and dark issues. Missouri with its recent history is ripe with comedy possibilities. Coming on to a comedy page and claiming racism because of some jokes clearly confuses the point of the thread. Also it seems people have confused an Internet board, specifically made for laughs, for the "real" world. Please for the love of laughter go away. You are not wanted here. This is the opposite of a "safe" space it's a Comedic space where the worst thing that can be said about a joke is that's it's simply not funny, that's the criteria. Thanks OP for actually understanding how humor is supposed to work. Now hopefully others can follow suit.

"Humor is something people inherently enjoy. But there also needs to be something wrong, unsettling, and threatening in some way. We call those violations.”

“The secret source of humor itself is not joy, but sorrow. There is no humor in heaven.”

Good thread. If LittleVol is at the game on Saturday, he should be fairly safe in whichever end zone Mizzou is pointed towards.

Go Vols.

OK, I've had enough of this!! I for one am ready to TAKE OUR THREAD BACK. Let's take to the streets right now and make fun of Missouri. I'll go first.

Q: How many Missouri Tigers does it take to change a tire?
A: One, unless it's a blowout, in which case they all show up.

Q: How do you neuter a Tigers fan?
A: Kick his sister in the jaw!

And you apparently didn't follow the story if you believe the Missouri incident was due to one entitled kid refusing to eat.

I didn't follow it, but looked into it extensively. I believe racism is horrible, just as bad as calling someone a racist with no facts. I looked into everything written all the interviews etc. my conclusion was the white students would have been in the right to protest due to racial related events. It was the biggest farce ever!!!! Well besides Ferguson.

Do you seriously think before you post? I never said it was JUST about that one kid. However, he was the start of it all. Secondly, you were the one that posted about it. Ha ha

If you think that Missouri is the only school that has been infiltrated by the "safe space" SJW millennials and faculty, you have totally had your head in the sand. UT was a laughing joke of a story for weeks because of the gender neutral word thing.

Only one way change is brought about and it seems like your colleagues are doing it.

A big block of the donors have gone as far as contacting friends in the Missouri state legislature telling them, if the crazy train continues at the school, zero dollars will come in from wealthy donors.

Maybe you should ask yourself that question. There are zero similarities between Missouri's issues and Tennessee's. And for you to attempt to connect parallels between the two schools tells me you have the analytical skills of Slingblade. The gender neutral crap is one of the reasons the state defunded a program set up to help minorities not cater to political agendas. The nonsense you're trying to errantly connect between the 2 schools was not tolerated at Tennessee. Missouri not only tolerated a bs story that turned out to be for the most part made up, but they celebrated it. Big difference. It has nothing to do with tinted glasses or having one's head in the sand. It simply comes down to some people are better at analyzing information than others. Go safe space U!

The only difference is that the TN legislature moved quicker than Mizzou. The reason was Ferguson. Secondly, a movement started by a student and then embraced by a university is different than a policy STARTED by a university. How's that sling blade?

Enough about this. Bottom line is that UT fixed the issue and I think we are both happy. Go Vols.
