Majors could prove helpful in hiring new coach.

Sir, I know for a fact he did just that.

I fairly certain after reading your posts that you have very little knowledge as to anything related to this issue.

I know more than you think. I also know that there is no way in hell Dickey would have allowed a coach to demand a damn thing. He was one of Frank Broyles boys and ran things like a dictator. You may have been told that and believe it. But Dickey's ego was such that, he would have declared war on anyone who demanded a thing from him.

Not that I have any inside info on this but... especially an assistant coach.

On top of that CPF would have been risking A LOT if he did.

What if Dickey told CPF he was fired?

CPF would have ended his coaching career right there.

Exactly and anyone who has spent anytime around Dickey or watched his actions knows Dickey was a damned Tyrant. I think he would have laughed CPF and those 4 players off the Campus. If there is a more arogant man or a man who thinks higher of himself than DD I have yet to meet them.

You are putting words in my mouth. I didn't say Fulmer demanded anything. The meeting was about Majors "losing" the players. I know it happened and it didn't happen in Dickey's office. It happened in Joe Johnson's office.

Rodney Garner, Trooper Taylor, Woody McCorvey, Kevin Ramsey, Randy Sanders, David Cutcliffe, Mike Barry, and Doug Marrone all have found work at BCS conference football teams or the NFL after coaching with Phil Fulmer at Tennessee.

kevin ramsey is now at carson-newman.
