I have officially reached the point where I just don’t care. We will hire a google coach. THe pumpers will applaud the hire. The negas will call it themselves worst hire in history. And we will be between 5-8 wins next year, never looking dominant and often looking horrid. And 102,455 will pay hard earned money to watch. Fulmer stays on the money train (he just missed out on the REALLY big salaries) Pruitt and his Friends make bank. A couple of Vols are drafted and we are all somehow amazed how they were underutilized at UT. And the stadium expands and so do the administrations’ bank accounts.

Immediately, if not sooner, we need to hire an O.C. who can turn goat piss into gasoline, and chicken salad into chicken sh!t. Until that time comes, we need better players.

Pruitt needs a OC he can just let be the CEO of the offensive side of the ball.
Doesn’t want to happen what happened last year, having to babysit the O during the game and at practice

jimmys and joes trump Xs and Os but we have some damn good recruiters imo but what we need is teach and be able to call/ make an offensive gameplan.

@bag12day it absolutely does with Jimmy’s & Joe’s.

I know anyone that Pruitt goes with, is going to recruit, coach qb’s & have a grasp of what they want to do.

At the college level of Power 5 teams most of your game plan & prep are put together by you offensive anyalsts and off field staff. OC has final say but at a school like Tennessee they lean on Support staff for game prep. OC’s at schools like Tennessee have other requirements with recruiting & position management to study film like a OC would in HS or smaller college

It's called "red pill thinking" or realism, also described as seeing aspects of life through a crystal-clear lens. A cynic might suggest that the university seriously consider whether including American football in its athletic program is an advantageous long-term strategy; the money will keep on rolling in until one day, maybe not too far off, liabilities exceed assets.
