Not at all. My point was that you were trying to present things as facts to strengthen your statement. They are not facts. The fact is that the guys who are head coaches in the SEC got here from many different routes and a good chunk of them did not come by way of even a second tier P-5 school.
What are you saying aren't facts. Go ahead and look at the staffs of OSU, Clemson, Bama, etc. Teams that are winning at a high level and see how many of their coaches came to them from a lower level program without experience in the NFL or at a P5 school.
Even Jones had a couple of years at WVU before getting his first HC gig.
Malzahn is the one exception I see. He moved from HS to OC at Arkansas.
