same here. thought by half time me and my buddy were doing tequila shots at one of the drink stands outside the gate, so the only thing i really remember after that was fighting with my future wife later that night...I would have turned that one off, but I was in the Dome:banghead2:
i wasn't there, but i did get up and go outside to smoke. fortunately my roomate came out (who could care less about college football) and told me we got the ball back. So i got to see the replay of the fumble and the drive to win the game live, on TV.I left the 1998 Arkansas game early. I was walking through Gate 21 when Stoerner fumbled and never saw it.:fool: :cray:

but, i wouldn't feel too bad, i have a feeling you were not the only one that missed the ending of that game.
Yes, I was in the Georgia Dome for that SEC Championship as well as the 2 Peach Bowl debacles.
I keep telling myself that I will never pay to see UT play in the Georgia Dome again, but then in 2004, I was right back there to watch them play Auburn.
Apparently, I'm a glutton for punishment.
I don't know if I've ever completely turned the TV off during a game, but I do convince myself that if I close my eyes or don't watch that they'll do better. You know, cause the players can tell if I'm watching.
