Former UTC coach and multiple time candidate for the UT job Mack McCarthy has been named the new head coach at ECU. The cheeleaders must not have been getting enough attention from the previous coach.

A long time ago there was some controversy when Mack was at UTC...

I got to know the guy a little bit back then. One of the really funny guys that are in the game. Knows his stuff as well.
ECU will do fine with Mack... Not great, but fine...

An ECU alumnae was looking over my shoulder when I wrote it. Of all the schools in the Triangle area, I usually like the ECU grads the best.
