He reminds me of Kelley Washington when he runs.

yeah i could see that... i just think he's soo explosive kinda like mark jones was but he's really agile and jerky. I hate to say it this way but does anyone remember the national champ game when peter warrick returned that punt. He was EXPLOSIVE! Taylor kinda reminds me of that. he always makes the first guy miss as well.

Been a long time since we had somebody like this. Where did this kid come from anyway? Was he highly recruited? Is he a FR?

Forgive me it's early and I have to leave for work in a moment so no time to look up info on him.

I haven't seen Taylor do much on the field yet. What's all the hype about so far? I'm not saying that he won't be good or doesn't show promise, but he returned one punt (which was called back) for a gain and a couple of other plays.

I guess that I'm just curious as to why he gets a nickname when he hasn't even been in the endzone yet.?.?

Tough to argue with that. I think it just goes to show how easy it is to distinguish yourself as a return man for us right now.

Yeah I admit I get excited just to see us field a punt safely and then make the first guy miss.

I think the kid has potential, but I also thought that about Hefney this time last year (anybody remember the punt return for TD called back against UNLV in Hefney's first game as PR?).

Let's see what the kid can really do before we annoint him with a nickname.

well he's ran back more than 1 if you count his kickoff returns as well. He just gives that feeling with me... we'll see because its going to happen mark my word!

I feel the same way, like he is going to run one back. But OWB is right, he hasn't really done a whole lot yet. I think for me is that he ran full speed on kickoffs and actually got past the 20.

Me too . . . It's such a novelty for us to have a guy actually run it up into the wedge at full speed.

Yeah to the 25, that's no reason for a nickname.

You know your special teams are in trouble when we are ready to put someone on a pedestal for not dropping the kick and getting it to the 25.

But if he runs one back in the UGA game, I'll have a nick for him too.

God owb. You cant tell that he is just going to return a punt return soon? he always makes the first guy miss and he is going to have a lane one day and he will be gone.

Right now, I'd just settle for not letting punts hit the ground.
