Charles Bloom, a spokesman with the SEC office says that ESPN has first pick amoung SEC games for Sept 24th weekend, and that they have until Sept 12th to make thier pick official, which many think will be Tennessee at LSU.

I dunno about Russell. He started to look better at the Capital One bowl. He may have gotten a clue this offseason. If anything, I'm willing to bet having Perrilloux knocking on his door is enough to motivate him to work hard at keeping the spot. Personally, I think they should give the job to Flynn.

I havent really followed LSU this off-season, But almost everything i have read or watched so far has Russell looking over his shoulder at Flynn.
