On College Sports Nation said his upset pick is UT over Bama. Don't know if this is reason for joy or heartache.

I have always thought this season our toughest match up was against A&M, and thought we lined up well against Bama but after all the injuries, not so sure now.

But for the sake of conversation say we beat Bama or auburn beats Bama,and Texas A&M beats them and gets the west title, if we don't turn the ball over 7 times, we spank TA&M. Thoughts?

Cardiac Kids are killing my heart......but what a fun ride!

I said last week I think Vols lose to aTm and beat Bama. This team responds so well. I think it's a real possibility. Saban struggles with a mobile quarterback and least talented Tennessee teams have hung in close with Dobbs as the helm.

The one thing that worries me is injuries. Tennessee needs some guys back and to play. Hurd, Kirkland, OBrien, Kendrick, McDowell.....

Out of all those Kirkland is whom we need back the most.

I'm pretty sure we won't see Obrien. Hurd Kirkland at least in some capacity. McDowell is questionable, his looked like a concussion. I hope we see Berry, he was knocked out cold by that missed targeting when he got hit in the face mask by #12 crown of the helmet.

FYI, I am not an insider and have no qualifications. Just an "educated" guess.

Let O'Brien rest if he's not 100%. He will be missed but we have tons of depth on the dline. Did you see that play McKenzie made on the third and 1 after the Obrien injury and the offsides to make it a short yardage situation? There's a video floating around somewhere but he blew the play up. Gives me hope for what's to come. If him and Tuttle play like they can against bama, I don't think they get as many yards up the middle as the last two teams.

My thoughts exactly. We will give them hell but our chances of winning rely on who is back. Need Cortez to be healthy and some others to get healthy.

Our defense is borderline decimated and can't stop a nosebleed. Unless Bama plays a poor game with a lot of turnovers, I just don't see how we beat them. I think it'll be a high scoring game and could see Bama putting 50 on us.

Thought the defense did alright against A&Ms offense. 21 of their points were off turnovers and two of those put them within 35 yards of the end zone. Late in the game we did look bad though.

We gave up 600 yards and 45 points. We had our moments when we tightened up and looked pretty good, but by and large, not only Saturday but really this entire season, we've looked pretty porous IMO.

Btw, we're giving up 27 points and 400 yards per game this year. Last year it was 20 and 362.
