Only if Fulmer resigns first. In your scenario both should be canned. Fulmer was fired three years too late as a head coach and now we have him as AD making some of the same bad decisions on coaches he was making during the first decade of the 2000s. Exasperated with all this!!

Fulmer had plenty of options, dozens of coaches out there he could have interviews. He went out to get it done quick and copy Georgia, Florida, etc. Hire a Sabanite. Our second one. This team has a good to great lineup of assistant coaches, but none of them are head coach material.

Yes, but have you noticed that Bama just keeps on being Bama under Saban; regardless of the coaches. One leaves, another comes; but Bama stays Bama. Bottomline: Saban is the key; not the assistants.
