While we have a bunch of billionaire boosters whipping them out to see who's is bigger, and apparently now our former head coach has been sabotaging the process in order to get the AD's job (why does that sound familiar); lost in all of this madness is the players. We have around 60-65 players who came here to play for the university of Tennessee who's futures are hanging in the balance. These guys don't deserve to be going through all of this. Let's hope this madness ends soon so they can get on with preparing for the 2018 season and beyond.

They dont deserve all of this mess for sure but lets not act like some of this situation we are in is directly related to their piss poor effort on and off the field.

I know everyone always wants to absolve the players but reality is there were a lot of highly rated players - it cannot be that they "gave their all for TN" or we would not be where we are today. Fortunately that could lead to a better coach.

All that said, they (nor we) do not in any way deserve the incompetence we have seen from this administration.

The hiring of Currie sabotaged itself! An Admin that doesn't care and led by HOH. They sent him to do a job that he had never done before. It was a joke from the beginning. This is ALL good news. Let the facts come out and it will all work out.

Yes that should surprise no one that was paying attention while the program crumbled under his feet as he threw players and coaches under the bus on a regular basis in order to deflect blame from the one person responsible for our fall. I thought we'd seen the worst, I was wrong. Having Fulmer on the inside again is my worst nightmare, and his fanboys are about to get a dose of reality.

Sorry for the double post, please delete.

And most of that blame falls on the guy who's job we're trying to fill. If he had properly developed and utilized those highly rated players we wouldn't be going through this in the first place.

These kids are being well served by this process, which is driven by their greatest supporters: Vol Fans.

Winning cures all. Better they go through a couple weeks of reorganization than another season/seasons of losing brought to them by mismanagement.

I was actually thinking about the way he allegedly back doored coach Majors to get the hc job in the first place, but I agree with everything you said.

I would say to the players......hang in there because this could be the best thing to happen for TN football in quite a while.

Poor babies! How will they survive without years of counsel. If they are snowflakes, then how on Earth do you think they're gonna keep UGA and UA from killing em?

C'mon man! They're probably enjoying the fireworks and glad to not have practice.

But they'd be cool playing for a coach who turned a blind eye to some sick pedophile? Ridiculous
