Losing to a top 25 team to start the season

That is one thing to take away from this. If we had played a DII school or something like that, we wouldn't have seen all of the glaring holes in the D and special teams that need to be fixed. Now hopefully something can be done about it before we play FL.
We couldn't stop the run last year.We knew about that after air force. We never fixed it.You know why because we have very average if not below average linemen. They are just not as talented as years past.If its not the talent then certainly its coaching. They have had plenty of time to fix this crap.My guess is if you are waiting on phil to fix something you will be waiting until he no longer coaches at UT.

I never said I thought it would be fixed. I hope it will improve, but I have serious doubts. All I said is that now we know what needs to be fixed. You can't get that from playing a nobody team.

The only advantage of losing to a top 25 team is that you learn your weaknesses and what you have to work on earlier than other teams.
