I know one thing. Cal's WRs are fast. A pretty well-known poster on some of the other board's has reported that as many as 10 Cal WRs run under a 4.5 40. Of course, our strong suit is our DBs so I think we can contain them. I can't wait to see Wade and Hefney light a few of them up.

Eh, I'm not to impressed by that because it went both ways...the D sucked at first, but then once they got used to the O the had multiple interceptions, fumbles, etc. I'll be fine with that when they come play here. Cal can tear it up for the first while, but as long as they break down completely oin the 2nd, I'll be happy.

Cal's WRs might be fast but how tough are they? SEC hits much harder than the Pac-10. I'm sure The Chief will have the DBs ready to hit hard. Intimidation......if they don't respect you, make them remember you! :aggressive:

I think Cal will put 30+ points on the board. I hope our offense is ready to match that.

A good pass rush from the d line is they key here I think. You nullify reciever speed some if you force the QB to get rid of the ball quick on short routes.

isn't Cal mostly a running team? I was more concerned about the D line giving away in the 4th quarter from a lack of depth and being on the field too long. :pimp:

Its gonna need to be a mix of both good coverage all game long and a decent pass rush. I feel our DB's will be ready to cover the WR's, pick off balls, knock down balls and hit the WR's. I think our D-Line will be close if not ready to play hardnosed defense. And another point I would like to add is, as Big orange Diesel said, the PAC-10 hits are nothing compared to the SEC. I hope that the CAL Recievers bring some Advil and ice packs

Cal is very balanced but can rely on either the run game or pass game depending on the opponent. I feel confident that we can win, though, if we shut the run down. They lost a few starting OL from last year so that may help.
