Anybody catch the conversation with Favre and Andrea Kreamer at the end. There he is tearing up and saying how it's hard to walk away from the game, clearly hinting at retirement, and yet Kreamer still asks about 4 questions about what his decision is going to be.

All I'm saying is that we've been drug down this road before. At least in Favre's case he's just a guy who has trouble making up his mind versus Clemens who uses it as a negotiating tactic.

Yeah, but that's not the first time he's cried after a season ended.

hence why kreamer simply did her job in asking him the questions she asked. he doesn't know yet and we won't know probably til june or july.

This is the same story, nth verse. Granted, Favre is among the best of the best, but he is outstanding at playing the fans. I haven't seen anyone better in my life time. I think he will stay.

If he stayed after a 4-12 season, so why wouldn't he stay after an 8-8 team? The team is getting better and better. Plus, he'll break Marino's TD record next year.

You never listen to a guy during the season or right after the season ends. They're too emotional and they haven't thought about it. Favre hasn't decided yet, I guarantee that.

He is professional football, or what it ought to be, the last of the greats. The NFL is gravitating to the gold toothed thug who talks all day and does'nt say a damn thing. Brett Favre(never understood how it was far-ve when the v came b4 the r)talks about competition and guts, he spoke to commitment and core values, while next years draft will thank God, and grin with a full set of gold teeth. I'm soul sick of where football is going.

I understand what you are saying Dan . . . but there are a lot of those "Gold toothed thugs" that will manage to make it through their careers without picking up a Vicodin addiction like Favre did.

Not trying to rip Favre, just saying everybody has their issues.

Say what you want about Favre -- Good or Bad, but Brett epitomizes the "heart" that all fans desire to see in their favorite athletes.

No doubt . . . To this day, there are probably about 25 NFL teams that would sign him to play QB tomorrow.

Why is having gold teeth accessories viewed as negative?

In my opinion it screams selfishness. Take care of numero uno, screw everyone else....it's all about me. It's about the degredation of the human race to the point that God should he let this society continue may owe an apology to Sodom and Gommorah. That and jeans halfway down their butt, call me a moral prude if you like. but tell me what sports is gonna look like in 20 years.

I think we've been hearing this complaint for about 15 years now.

Actually gold fillings are much better than the less conspicuous white composite fillings you can get. Any dentist will tell you that gold is top of the line. That being said, it's pretty unnecessary to get the entire front of your mouth covered in gold. However, it's not like all kinds of ancient societies didn't do stuff exactly like that all the freaking time. In fact, dental cosmetic surgery is centuries old. To say that personal decoration is going to lead to the degeneration of society is ridiculous.

I don't think it's rediculous. I think it speaks precisely to the point as an illustration of society we reside in. America seems in places/at times the whore of babylon. Any dentist will tell you gold is the top of the line??? Are you serious? Of course any dentist will tell you that, I now know why hatvol uses analogies all the time....he attepts to dumb it down to get the point across to some...geez.

Actually, if you check the mouth of any dentist, I can bet you that if there are fillings or restorations, they are probably gold.

Regardless, everyone understands the point you are trying to make. If you think that the reason your point is getting across is because it's over the head of some of the posters, then you are even dumber than this collapse of society theory you're trying to advance.
