I was watching Faizon’s junior year film. He has similar footwork and running patterns as Lamar. He’s not quite as side arm with his arm angle but he tends to throw with touch on the middle of the field throws.

He’s taller than Lamar but not faster/elusive. Will be curious how he develops. Big thing for him will be dissecting defenses pre/post snap and being accurate in the intermediate areas of the 🏈 field.

For some reason none of those areas of improvement translated into making anyone believe he was the “generational” QB that he was billed as by the “experts”. Brandon could just be that good. That’s the only scenario I would grant grace for GMac other then that it’s purely Mac’s fault.

I think Brandon could very well be that good. Doesn't mean GMAC is bad or deficient in any way.

You know CJH will have us a QB ready, one or more. He always does.

I'm expecting another 8-4 season. Anything below that is unacceptable with a few caveats. Come 2027 though there are no excuses not to make the playoffs. I love coach Huep and I believe he's the right man for the job but the natives are getting restless. It's time for Danny White to give him the NIL he needs to build a champion.

No way is he sandbagging GMac. You don't want reporters like Price and Hobbs saying a guy isn't where he should be and it's basically tied, that just puts extra pressure on GMac to perform knowing neither have played any meaningful snaps. While Faizon is sitting there like I wasn't supposed to start anyway but now I have a chance, if I do great, if I don't I wasn't expected to anyway. No pressure

CJH may have to get over it and play the TF if he's the better option.
The days of sitting players has been limited. You play the best you have each year while you have them.
GMac better tear it up in Fall Camp or Faizon lays an egg in Fall Camp

Let’s just hope we don’t have to find out. But hypothetically if we were to go 5-7 he’s a goner. We’d lose him, Faizon, Keys, Sanders, and 15-20 others but don’t worry my crystal ball says we’re going 8-4 and GMac ends the season looking like a faster Peyton Manning 👍

Let's be realistic....... He couldn't look like a slower Peyton Manning.
