Looks Like GMac and Faizon are Neck and Neck

They actually did, he had gained 15 pounds from when he arrived here before Owings got here
From what I recall, the recruiting services had him at 190 to 195, depending on the service. But, it’s plausible they were wrong and he was around 185. Supposedly he’s 202 to 205 now.

Supposedly he was 182 when he got here is what I heard. Could be wrong though

the risk is too high that Gmac will leave if you let the freshman start over him. if they are that close just let Gmac have it and Faizon can wait like all the other QBs have.
Either way you run into the same problem. If you start Gmac as a redshirt freshman, Brandon may portal out. You start the player who’s separated himself, and if it isn’t clear, you give it to the younger guy to build for the future

It's going to be a long season regardless so don't get your hopes up..you'll just be disappointed
Saw this movie last year. We were disappointed because we were WAY better than we expected on offense…just pathetic on defense.

182 for GMac out of HS wouldn’t shock me. I think the recruiting services exaggerate a little on height and weight, particularly on the higher profile players.

Just temper your expectations. We are a very talented team but we are extremely young at the most important position.
I hope we don't dip below .500 because of what it might do to recruiting/transfers but if we do, I really hope we see some BIG time flashes at QB to show that players should invest in UT the next season.

I hope you’re still laughing out loud after we play them in November!
Don't worry, I will be.

Vandy isn't magically good because of 1 season with the best QB they've ever had in their entire existence. Clark Lea isn't suddenly Nick Saban. This is the same program that won 2 games in 2023.

I dont think it matters right now which one wins the job. Its going to be tough year upcoming. I think both can be good in time but dont expect either to be able to come right in and run the offense as efficiently as Aguilar did last year. Aguilar wasn't perfect, but throwing for 3500 yards and the offense averaging 40 a game will be hard to top for a QB with no experience.
Yea the offense might look like 2024. We should be strong up front and we do have a stud in the backfield. If the QB’s can make the throws we could be ok. If we have an advantage on the field it’s those dudes outside. This might be the most talented WR group in the CJH era.

I think it's Gmac

I've read the practice reports everyday and they say Gmac looks good and accurate. Now, he's not?
Well I have not seen either of them very much, just a few clips of practice, but that tells me nothing as to what they will do in a game.
