Looks Like Chavis Coached The Colts In 2nd Half

Limited options with a backup corner and broken blitzer. That killed the D. Sean Payton should get all the props in the world for the onside kick - hell, the 2nd and 3rd quarters were aggressively coached and got them the breaks. It worked.

I don't rcall one single blitz by the colts the whole game they consistantly tried a front 4 rush and it did not work.

I didn't get it either, but it's not they're game or what they're built for.

I hope I never have to experience this kind of loss as a UT fan. I have never been a diehard fan of a team that has lost a world championship until now. This really sucks.

With that soft defense. Great way to let the other team march down the field.

Freeney was hurt, couldn't get any pressure on Brees. That was a recipe for disaster. Brees is very good, and the Saints have a slew of good WRs. Freeney is as important to the Colts as Manning.

Maybe...we'll never find out.

I would have like to have seen a healthy Colts roster this season. Vinatieri, Gonzalez, Sanders and while Freeney played in the Super Bowl heobviously wasnt near as effective as usual. he is a game changer, plus Wayne has had knee issues. So yes the Saints were the team that won the game but that doesnt mean they are better than the Colts.

Saints were the better team. Manning was dragging the Colts through the entire season.

Apparently you we're around for the loss to Florida in '97. I imagine colts fans tonight are feeling a lot like we did here after the '97 loss. That was supposed to finally be our year.

i still find it hard to blame one player for any of our 90s UF losses; spurrier at UF was like one of the top 3 coaches in the nation year in and out in planning and ability; i mean look what he was able to do with pretty much nothing each year (i say nothing based off how almost all his players fell flat in the pros after leaving UF)
