Jesus. Look at his track record. Let it go

2018 - Went 12-1 Beat a mid-tier ACC team (7-7) and lost to a high-tier SEC team (10-3).
2019 - Went 10-3 Beat a bottom-tier PAC 12 team (4-8) and lost to a mid-tier ACC team (8-5)
2020 - Went 6-4 Beat a bottom-tier ACC team (3-7) and lost to a P5 independent (11-1)

So, on the bright side he should be able to beat Vandy.

Lost to high tier SEC team by 8 without the starting QB.

All his losses were really close.

Lost to Cinci by 3 this year who lost by 3 to UGA with JT Daniels who killed us with Stetson Bennett because of stupid JG.

He beat the teams in his conference. I understand that may be hard for you to understand, but it would be like TN beating teams in the SEC

They don't ask you how, they ask you how many.

2 conference losses in 2019
3 conference losses in 2020

As bad as we have been the last three years, we could have easily matched that in the AAC.

The great shame of the matter here is that we didn't get an opportunity to see Chaney's offense run with the quarterback Chaney wanted to run it.

We got Pruitt's conception of offense, because of course Squidbilly knew more about offensive football than any offensive coordinator in the country.

We also got Pruitt's quarterback, because seniority and being able to take a hit meant more than actual ability to understand an offense and throw a football.

I wish Coach Chaney all the best in whatever he does. If that is a retirement in East Tennessee, then at least it is worthwhile compensation for the last two years spent running Bald Battle's offense.

So you're saying the AAC is on par with the SEC. Got it.
I don’t know if you are trolling or not, so I’ll try and dumb this down as much as possible.
When you are UCF, you play in the AAC, you get AAC level athletes, you don’t get 4 & 5 star talent to go there and play. Therefore, your conference record is a reflection of how you played teams that are on par with you
When you are TN, you get SEC level talent. You are expected to compete with teams in your conference. You should be getting 4 & 5 star talent to come to your school.
I can’t make it any more clear than that.
