The architecture of Mies van der Rohe: Less is more. It is ugly, and it is similar to much of modernist architecture found all over the western world. This 'style' especially appears to campus architecture where lack of monies make it more attractive to decision makers.

It's not just Lindsay Nelson. Having graduated in the early 70s, I miss what the campus used to look like. It seems that U.T. has been as efficient at hiring architects as it has been at hiring football coaches (excluding the present one).
