And now we have to play a rising Ga and UA every year.

The Vols will be great again but we don't have a timeline, but, beating Alabama and Georgia will be why they are great again.
Great teams never shy away from the competition, they relesh the completion, a point that Pruitt is trying to instill right now at Tennessee
Go Vols

Well...Delmar, someone on VN decided that flooding this here valley will change the fortunes of our beloved Vols football team. I say we hang on and see what happens.

Don't look now but the injury/bad luck mojo that has plagued the Vols for the last while might be deciding to move on to other targets. TN needs to stay healthy.

Yeah this sounds warm and fuzzy but it's not reality. The reality is that we have a tougher road to the SECCG than anyone else in our division. We get the toughest team in the nation every year while UG gets Ga Tech and UF gets Fl St, both being non conference losses at worst for them. It is not a matter of shying away from competition, it is a matter of starting at a disadvantage every year with a powerhouse rising in your own division. I would never get rid of the Alabama game but I really wish that division records determined who goes to Atlanta.
