Me and several friends have started an SEC OD, but there a few teams still not taken and I was wondering if there were anyone here would be interested in any of the spots. We'll be playing 5 min. quarters on All-American. MIssissippi St. is now currently the only team available. None of us are particularly great, and we'd like it to be relatively fair, so if you're awesome, don't request LSU please. I think we're hoping to advance every 2 or 3 days, so if you can handle that pace and are interested by all means post on here and I'll invite you in.

We're currently working on week 1 right now, so it's certainly not too late, I sent the invite, and we're hoping to advance later on today so if you could get the game played today that would be awesome.

Done. I sent the invite a few minutes ago. We're hoping to advance tonight, so if there is any way you could get the first week done this afternoon or later tonight that would be ideal. We're waiting on the guy who has Florida, he's working till later tonight, but by tomorrow at the latest I'd like to have moved on.

There's a couple people in here that I'm not too sure about, so if they start cheesing on you feel free to return the favor. The plan is for people to try and play as close to a real game of football as possible though.

Alrighty, I run an offense reminiscent of the Houston Oilers, so if you see a lot of passes I'm not cheesing I promise :).

If possible, I'd like to try it if we can get the people and keep it going. We've got 9 so far. Is there some reason to expect this won't work? I know for sure most of my personal friends in the OD will be able to play their game in a day or two, and be ready to keep it moving along, but like I said we'd like to play at a pace where we advance every 2-3 days if possible.

What exactly is "cheesing?" I've heard the term before, but never heard an explanation for what it is or how it's done.

we already advanced to week 2, but you are still welcome to join. the guy who had USCjr backed out, so they are available too if you would rather take them. Both USCjr and Vandy are 1-0, so harm in having missed week 1, just let me know which you would like.

To me the best explanation of cheesing, and what I was talking about when I said to avoid it, is playing the game in a manner that is not at all consistent with how actual football is played. Examples: lining your fastest DB up at QB just to exploit the AI, never punting on 4th down, always faking FG's and punts, simply never punting no matter your field position and yards to go, onside kicks on every kickoff, and various other things like that.
