The lesson of basketball is perhaps applicable. The teams that have high attrition with a lot of "one and dones" seem to struggle long term, Kentucky being perhaps the lone exception, whereas the teams with "lesser" talent but a higher number of seniors seem to succeed. I'd probably still take 22 senior "3 stars" over 22 freshman "4stars" because the maturity and leadership are stronger.

I'm sure the coaches will explain that there was a good reason for each individual leaving, but the leadership and maturity drain are certainly a problem to be addressed.

If Kamara starts the App St game, is a fumble recovery TD even necessary?

Very likely not as AK was the far better running back imo. Yet, if that overrated quitter Hurd doesn't alertly jump on the fumble by Dobbs, that's a loss vs lowly App State. So while he didn't do ish the rest of the season, he surely contributed that game.
