After an abysmal start to the season, an 0-2 record that grew to a 1-4 record we have end up with:

Being bowl bound

A 7-5 overall record (we had only a 5% chance to make a bowl and less than 1% chance to win 7 games.)

5-3 in SEC play

Third place finish in the East.

A five game winning streak (6 of the last 7)

Broke the Muschamp curse

Got revenge on Mizz and Vandy

And on a personal note optimism for the future. It feels great to be a Tennessee Vol!

We beat all the mid pack lower tier teams for the first time since 2015 and finished the season with 5 straight wins. That’s a positive start in the right direction to get us back to where we need to be. The next step is to beat one of the big 3 next season. Congrats to Pruitt and the team though and coaching staff for turning it around and getting bowl eligible and no matter what we will finish with a winning record but hope we finish 8-5 with 6 straight wins good momentum for the off-season and next season. Go Vols!

Hard to believe after a 1-4 start that had we won the first two and also win the bowl game, we could have been a 10 win team.

Having a running game tonight helped to win the game. A shout out to freshman RB Eric Gray for a great game. See you at the Bowl and appreciate the OL and DL. Never in my life have I witnessed defensive backs grabbing and holding our wide receivers to the point of tearing the helmets off, etc. Need to set up some rules on grabbing, holding, etc.

I am shocked. Past experience lead me to believe season was over but this team refused to accept that. Glad they didn't fall into the same mold as previous teams.
