There's a reason the Packers have begged an aging, interception slinging Quarterback to stay around for two years. If they thought Rodgers could take the load Favre would be gone.
Pro Bowl, not so much.
The Forty Niners had no problem showing Joe Montana the door. The Cowboys showed no compunction about giving Roger Staubach's job to Danny White. The NFL isn't some Lifetime Channel movie. If Rogers could beat Favre out, he'd be playing. Period.yeah they're going to force out the guy that half the fanbase has their first born named after. riiiigggghhttttt.

Irrelevant. Packer fans showed up to watch teams quarterbacked by Lynn Dickey. The front office is trying to win, not recreate the final scene from "The Best Of Times." The best guys play. Rogers=Not the best guy.green bay is not san francisco or dallas. The fans in green bay still actually believe that farve is one of the best QBs in the league and could lead them to the super bowl.
give it up Droski, you cant keep pimping your boy Rodgers in the face of logic. Hat's 100% correct, the NFL is all about the Ws, doesnt matter that a team has to force out a beloved "face of the franchise" if it means wins. What did AL say? that's right, "Just win baby."
don't know if you watch any of the HBO series about training camp, but the coaches meetings are regularly filled with comments about his "natural talent" (read: cannon) followed quickly by "poor decision making" (read: stupidity)yeah, Croyle was really on fire last night wasnt he? 5 of 17...ok Bama fans, show me how you're gonna spin that, I guess if Saban was coaching him he would have gone 17 of 17
