been probably 5 or 6 weeks since i've been on.... i saw where we got a kicker....what else have i missed lately? new job keeping me very busy, just wanted to check in and see if some of you could could give me the low down on what's been going on, if anything....basically i'm too lazy to go find it myself, and i'm sure there some of you wanting pad your posts....so....what's up?

Juco QB who starts this fall... and heavy talk about Scroggins who could announce within the next couple of weeks.

Good to see your back at work. No news really the only items I can think of, and I haven't been following the board that regularly either:

*QB Situation. The First couple of high school QB's LK recruited had more interest in other schools. So a few fans descrobe the QB LK is recruiting now as his 3rd choice. A couple of QB's, one from Florida and one from Miami were considering transferring to UT but didn't.

*Strength and conditioning coach was replaced, mainly because Orgeron didn't have full confidence in him.

*Secondary Recruiting Violations: sportswriter wrote a debated column that LK is getting too many secondary recruiting violations.

*Monty Kiffin effectiveness as a coach at age 69. A few fans/sportswriters voiced concern if MK will be able to transition smoothly from the pro to to the college game at his age (69). Definite minority in this camp.

We have a sports journalist who whines every time someone questions him or points out the inaccuracies in his story.

This is becoming an interesting thread.

We need a Guru to do this every couple of months. It could save the rest of us a lot time with trying to keep up. :rock:

the teams gpa in the spring was higher than it has been in years. no reporting on this though by our good friends at ESPN...

i believe all but a handful of 09 recruits are enrolled in the first session of classes so they are integrating into the fold already. you could ask one of the gurus which ones arent yet, i wouldnt know without looking first. CLK is happy with what hes heard about their work so far though!

job's coming together, and the wife and kids like it...

Still haven't got the house compltely put together,
Definetly moved at the right time of year
