Tennessee sophomore guard Chris Lofton was one of 22 players named to the official voting ballot for the 2005-06 Wooden Award All-American Team and Player of the Year, presented annually to the nation's top collegiate basketball player.
The winner will be announced on Saturday, April 8, during a national CBS telecast of the John R. Wooden Award ceremony that will air live at 2 p.m. EST from The Los Angeles Athletic Club.

I know but it's nice to see his season recognized. He wasn't even on the midseason list. He's one of only 5 soph. on the list.

Wow. Tyler Hansbrough made the list as a freshman!

Deservedly so. On the other hand, Mike Gansey and Paul Davis? Both are nice players, not POY material.
