Saw him on Bamas side line looking like an idiot!

He looks like an idiot every sideline he’s on cause he is a football idiot. If his name were Smith & his father a mailman, he couldn’t coach a pee we’d team. Ridiculous he got where he did in life.

I will be honest. I didn’t know who Danny White was. I was not happy when he was hired. I wanted Blackburn. But I absolutely agree with you. Thank God we ended up with White and Heupel.

I was high on Danny White the second I found out that he was number one on our “board” and had no previous connections to the university. It showed me that instead of going after someone simply because they have ties to UT we went after someone who we believed to be the absolute best candidate. I felt even more confident when all of the outsiders who are in the know were calling it a home run hire.

I love the sentiment, but lets be realistic here-
Pitt was ranked what like 17th? The Mildcats we're like 18th last year when we beat them.

Signs with Heup are promising-so far, but I wanna take down top 5 teams. Routinely.
No one takes Top 5 teams down routinely.

Because few teams get the opportunity to ay them routinely...and if theyre getting beat they wont be top 5 teams long.

Recruits seeing tweets like this will see we’re building something special in Knoxville.

Get 9-10 wins regular season wins and here's what will occur. We'll see a significant number of four and five stars committing. Several recruits we wanted but went elsewhere, such as TAMU and UTX, will portal our way. Maintain this W-L ration into 2024, and the UT will be back as the Beast of the East.

Lucked into a win.

Had slovis not gotten hurt. We lose by 10 at the very least.

Please tell us all how a QB that threw for 58%, who had 1 td, who threw for 1 int and had a fumble……….would have magically WON the game for Pitt.

You realize Pitt was down when he was still in at QB……right?

You realize he had twice as many turnovers as he had TD’s…….right?

So…..please explain.

I agree. But I think about a little differently.

Had our defense not been so aggressive and eager to disrupt Pittsburgh’s passing game, we lose by 10 at the very least.

How many passes bounced off Tennessee defenders and were caught by Pitt? Luck there

Anyone know the story on 4-5 Tennessee players who immediately ran to the other end zone after the final incompletion in OT? Seemed like they started jawing with some of the student section before heading back the corner with the band.

Nope. Pitt is lucky we had three turnovers in that 2nd half that allowed them to take it to overtime. I didn’t know before the game who was better but now firmly believe we could of won that game by 4 touchdowns. At least by two if Slovis had played the entire game.

We lucked into Danny and Josh
It was not luck! The Football Gods got together and said "The Vols have been punished for their prideful ways long enough, and yet they have persevered. Send them a savior who shall bring them back into the fold of the elites."

Not meant to be sacrilegious nor offensive in any way.
