Sorry but I'm seeing so much negativity on this board as of late that I am absolutely astounded. Where have you been since 2007? It takes more than 2 games against inferior opponents to start beating the big boys again with a new coach. Volnation is so fickle, I'm amazed. I thought you guys would give Jones a chance. He has ZERO talent. Give him a two-three years and realize that this is not the Tennessee of the 90s anymore. Yes, we have fallen that far. Sorry to break it to you.

Uh.....did you even watch the game?

We had plenty of shots to get ahead in the first half with three drive starting on their side of the fifty.

Actually, I just think you're trolling

If we had more Pessimism on this board we would have less of these posts.

Ok maybe ZERO talent was a bit harsh. I will say that we have talent, just zero experience and little depth. Also, I'm not laughing about losing, I'm laughing at the people who are already calling for the dogs on Jones. There's a big difference.

what is it people don't understand.

i didn't think tennessee was going to win either.

but, if you said florida will drop the the snap from the punter in the red zone and turn it over 3 other times in the 1st half, including a pick 6....oh, and the starting qb for florida is hurt while the score is 7-0 tennessee, then, that changes things a tad.

people's frustration comes from the fact that despite what anyone thought entering the game, the game as it was played was winnable.

and the game was lost, in large part, because tennessee displayed its own high level of ineptitude.

Yep that is it, but I will say if somebody said we would turn it over 7 times and lose by only 14, I would say you are crazy...what does that say about Florida?

It turned out to be a HORRIBLE decision to play Peterman. I am not saying we would have won with JW but he is our best option right now. Hopefully, CBJ will learn from this and not play Peterman anytime soon. That was our best chance to beat a ranked opponent this year and we failed.

I never think the Vols will beat Florida. I felt that way in the 90's too. That being said, that was the worst I've ever seen Florida play. UT did them one better by putting on an even worst performance!

Yes. Most people have never played football and understand nothing.

Butch Jones hasn't has enough time to wash the "Stank of Dooley" off of these players yet. Any other SEC team except maybe Kentucky would of had Florida down 28-0 after that 1st quarter Saturday. But leave it to the "Stank of Dooley" to find away to turn the ball right back over to the Gators and look stupid doing it. It is like Murphy's Law for football...all that can go bad and wrong will and will never stop. Or you can also call it the "Legacy of Dooley" too if you choose.

Of course I was prepared for it, but that doesn't make it any better.

Then at the end of the day while you aren't laughing at least you aren't crying, right? I've learned that even though I love UT football, taking it too serious these days is detrimental to your health.

"Stank of Dooley"

HAHA. Whenever I feel like I've left my redneck roots VN is always a place I can count on for me to find solitude.
