So those who hate Fulmer and hate the term "UT family". What do you think now? I mean he all but kissed Fulmers ass and repeatedly said UT family.

I know you can do better than this. There are very few, if any, people here that hate CPF or UT family.

He also had some really nice things to say about all the coaches he fired.

He did it because he's a savvy cat and knows what to say.

What do you want him to say.

"Yeah, Fulmer's done 'round here boys. S**t's gonna change round here."

You need to go back and read. Many on here have stated hatred for Fulmer and the term UT family. I just like consistency. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

He's so concerned about what Fulmer thinks that he's about to hire a guy Fulmer tried to rat out to the 'AA as his feature recruiter and D-Line coach.

I agree. It's when he was saying all the PC things that he looked most nervous in the presser. He was much more relaxed when talking football.

So, some people can't stand Fulmer. Maybe Kiffin's down with Phil.

What's your point?

No, I just think it was stupid for those who bashed others for saying UT family. And I think it is classless for some to keep bashing Fulmer even after it was announced he was gone. And yes I too think he is savvy and like him.

it sounded like he had nothing but respect for Fulmer and what he has accomplished as a coach. he didn't have anything to do with the firing of Fulmer and is trying to greatly promote change to our program. Kiff showed nothing but class in my opinion...

It wouldn't shock me if Ed Orgeron's first meeting with the UT players involves him in a sumo diaper tearing apart effigies of Phil Fulmer and John Chavis.

Where has anyone continued to bash Fulmer?

I put nothing past Orgeron. I'd pay to hear his speech to the D-Line before the Ole Miss game next year.

Phillip and lane won't be exchanging christmas cards anytime soon. I doubt he was going to go on tv and start badmouthing a coach that has had the success phil has had. Another pointless thread.

Just consistency.

He was extremely complimentary of Phil's old staff, as well. When presented with the opportunity to offer them continued employment, he declined. Do you expect Lane to just step on everyone's toes in his first conference as coach?

Lane was too busy making John Adams & Co. feel totally insignificant.

He kept 4 on. And mostly paid props to Fulmer.

Exactly... he kissed his ass for the people who didn't want Fulmer gone, and then basically said the culture Fulmer created must, and will, change.
