I just moved into an apartment and when I plug my ethernet cord into my xbox it says no internet connection. Now when I first moved in I had to sign up for the internet and sign in to get the internet to work. I saw where I can put my user name and password on my live, but then it ask for a PPPoE service name and I dont know what the hell that is. Here is the internet I use. NTC | We're all about U!

Do you happen to have a laptop or desktop?? If so, plug your ethernet into the computer and pull up your web browser to make sure you are connected. Then go ahead and disconnect and plug it back into your 360 and turn the power on. Maybe this will get it going, but I am not sure. Also maybe reset your internet settings on your dashboard and try it again.

Your internet is probably registered to your computer's mac address. You either need to add your 360's mac address to the system by calling the ISP and telling them, or get a router and under its settings have it clone your computer's mac address.
