The Vols now have 16 technical fouls on the season, easily the most in the SEC. Crews and fellow freshman big man Wayne Chism each have three.

when you're successful, stats like this don't hurt as much, but the T's are getting a little out of hand.

I hate it when they call that on anybody. I understand keeping the taunting out of the game, but I wish they would give the referees discretion to maybe give something akin to a delay of game warning the first time it happens.

Alabama had a couple of dunks where the player hung on to the rim even though there was no defender underneath. I thought those should have been T'd up although I don't know how long the rules specify a player can hang from the rim.

I turned to my wife and said I'm glad he's getting these while he's still a freshman - he will learn from it and mature. I don't think the refs are gonna cut them slack when it comes to taunting and he will learn to cut it back some..
just my :twocents:

Crews is a firey guy... he was struggling yesterday, finally made a play, and almost gave it right back with the silly technical. He ended up playing only 12 minutes yesterday...
