can anyone out there help me on the whereabouts of former ut guard gary carter ? he played in the early 80's for u t. thanks !! :salute: :salute:

I heard he was working as a temp at Mid-Mountain Foods in Abingdon, Va a couple of years ago. He is probably around the Johnson City area. My team competed against him up here in East Tenn. He could flat out hit and pitch and he wasn't a bad baller although he couldn't really handle the ball. He could shoot lights out.

Gary is almost certainly still up in JC. Played a lot of ball with and against him up there. He was always a nice guy but was always in trouble over something as well. Enjoyed the competition against him, he could shoot it.
