According to the reported story, it’s benign not malignant.

The results showed she had an acoustic neuroma, which is a benign tumor, on her cranial nerves.

So, hopefully surgery goes well and that will be it.

It sounds like - from her post - her fears are mostly regarding complications possibly coming from the surgery itself, right?

With my wife’s metastatic breast cancer, tumors formed in her brain...malignant. Had to resort to targeted radiation and we never really got her back afterwards. If they’re benign and not spread out, then there’s good hope of a one and out procedure. Scary azz area to cut in tho. Matt won’t sleep well.
