Lineups set for Orange and White game

ALL of the freshmen except for Fugate are on the White team.

I'm gonna take Bray and Poole to win. White team!

Though....it's gonna be a good game. I feel like this is going to be a very well matched fight.

1. White Team got the two "starting" Defensive Tackles (Hughes and Walls)? Could be interesting.

2. Splitting up the offensive line could be really interesting.

We'll see how bad our depth situation really is.

3. Tauren Poole will be busy (only scholarship TB on the White Squad).

I actually like this approach vs. previous years. The walk-ons will be playing with the "1's". Should allow for some non-scholarship players to shine and some starters to dominate.

I'll be there!

starting RB, 3 starting OL, our best WR, both starting safeties, our leading tackler in the spring, both starting DTs and our best DE.

white will roll.

Seriously. The D line on the White team is STACKED. Everyone on that line should see significant minutes this year. Not to mention, I think that Rogers, Milton and Moore give Bray more targets than Simms will have. The O-Line can be split any way you want, and still not give either side an advantage. This will be good, because we will get to see how good Simms really is when he has the White D-Line rushing at him with a terrible line.

White wins the battle in the D-Line, LB, and DB's as well...defense should own them.

You missed Ted Meline on the White team. He will probably get some reps subbing for Moore or Milton.

Also, the Orange team will probably go to a two tight end system since Jones probably won't be going at full blast because of his ankle injury. Adderley is on the roster. A Stocker/Adderley combination could be dangerous. Adderley will get a chance to show Vol fans why he was signed originally by the "U" before transferring. With Mychal Rivera coming in August the Vols could have the three best tight ends in the SEC if not the country. :clapping:

My buddy Chase getting a chance on the line.

I hope he does well, I've never gotten to see him play in orange...

The teams appear to be stacked heavily in favor of the White team. If Simms can manage to pull a victory out of this one, the QB race may be over. If not, this could be the 3rd time Bray put up better numbers and a sign that we may have a true frehman at the helm before it's all over.
