All year, not just this game, has been terrible.
How many games this year do the backers get sucked into the line of scrimage only to have the play go by them?

From my perspective the backers are both too shallow and too tight, not allowing them to see the play develop and thus target the right hole. Instead they bite hard to the LOS get eating up in a blocker near or at the line and fail to contain.

Our LB's stick to offensive linemen like velcro...and RB's always fall forward for an extra 3 yards while being tackled. They look like something out of the Sunseri era.

I just don't recall in LB 101 that it's good technigue to find an Olinemen and run into him.
