to mention today that UT is ahead of UF in the standings because UF has lost 3 games in conference and UT has only lost two.

lol...and that'll work as an answer to just about everything for another year...

doesn't it just suck to be so obviously and completely better than a foe only to watch them literally beat the Dawg out of a team that dispatched yours on a neutral site. Gives cynical guys like me the opportunity to say we could have hammered you at home, because UGA beat you guys on a neutral site. I just about can't fathom how much that sucks.

I'll let you know after I sit down and try again (fourth read through) to understand what you just wrote.

He was using the transitive property to mention that you lost to Georgia, a team we dismantled.
Even further, UF dismantled UT on a pro-UF field. UT dismantled UGA on a pro-UT field. UGA dismantled UF on a neutral field. Hence, on a neutral field, UT would clearly take care of business.

See, now that I understand.

Is it frustrating? Yes, but not for the reason BibPapa thinks.

Its not frustrating to be almost out of the running for SECE because we beat you but you are ahead of us. That happens occassionally, in all sports.

What is frustrating is that we lost to two teams we parobably should have beaten in Auburn and UGA. The LSU loss, on the road, by one score, doesn't surprise anyone. And both Auburn and UGA played well on nights where the Gators just were missing some ingredient.

But that is not surprising for a team that is starting a large number of freshmen and sophomores. Just got to accept it and move on.

But man alive would it suck for me if I were in your shoes. I mean, it would suck a lot.

Thanks, chief.

Yeah, Tebow has not let me down. I can't think of anything negative to say about him that a little experience and a RB won't fix.

I'm thinking of coming up for that game next year. I wish it were a little later in the season. Would be nice to see some cooler weather and some fall scenery.

It sad to think this year that 3 losses in the SEC could still be decided in the last week of the season as the SECE representative.

I can't say that the possibility of such an outcome makes me all that upset. :p

I know I gave Tebow a hard time before the season, but he has been outstanding. He has proven he can be an accurate thrower. I'll eat my crow.

you know, if i were to continue on my analogy the other day about how two years ago, TN swept the gators in the reg season, but in the end, that didn't matter, because FL went on to win the SEC anyway....kind of like how that same scenario could wind up being true in football this year for us....and in both scenarios there were players for each team that simply had the other's number ......i can't help but think........

is Tim Tebow the football version of Dane Bradshaw?:eek:lol:
