Letter to Bray "Media"

He's an idiot for actually putting it out there but he had a couple of good points. I think right now TB needs the balance of both support and a swift kick in the rear. key word being balance. but ya, this guys an idiot!!

Anti-sab? Nothing like a nice call out from the media, especially from someone like weidmer. As captain hook might say, "bad form."

Are you kidding me???

I fully believe that there is an appropriate level of criticism that college athletes should expect and accept but I have to say unequivocally that Wiedmer crossed the line with that column!

You think Bray doesn't realize all this stuff, and he needs a letter written to him for a little enlightenment? Lame....

The tone that it is written in is immature and goofy but, what did he say that is not correct. Take the emotion out of it and digest it with logic and it is hard to argue. It is just the reality of the situation. Nothing to overreact about, it is what it is... We need Tyler to be what he has the potential to be.

I have a lot of issues with this letter. It is underhanded the entire time, it is not sincere, it is sarcastic and it is openly bashing a guy giving his all (whatever that may be) for his school.

The other thing that really irritates me is that he has the nerve to say that Tyler needs more toughness - really??? He hasn't proved it over and over again that he is tough.

I hope Mark get's stonewalled at UT for a long time for this.

all i know is the truth hurts. if it wasn't true, feelings would not be hurt. read it tyler, take it to heart. you can leave UT a hero (beat bama, come back for your senior year and led UT back to the elite) or a zero ( people say all that talent and nothing to show for it). it's on your shoulders, not dooleys or anyone else. think about it....peyton, heath, tee....tyler. go grab it.

Doesn't matter if it is true or not, it is tactless to say the least.

The whole thing is one long backhanded complement. Weeds is chatt towns version of ja, but i think this goes a bit too far even for that type of journalism.

If Wiedmer's true intent, as this letter suggests, is to actually help Tyler Bray (which I doubt), then he's failed miserably.

Wiedmer must be jelli of that South Crolina hack writer that Spurrier is hating on...

It has a condescending tone the entire time. Tyler has talent, but he doesn't have the big game experience yet. I think he is a microcosm of the team: great potential, but he needs more time.

All I can say is wow....just wow.

Oh, and I guess I can say "What a dumbazz" too.

I actually feel bad for the poor journalist. He obviously wrote and uploaded that while on a bender. Imagine waking up the next morning, hung over, knocking the pile of Jager bottles off of your desk, seeing that blinking back at you on your screen, and thinking, "Oh S***. Not again!"

I can actually picture this guy crying over his keyboard as he is putting all of his heartfelt emotion into this letter in his last ditch effort to help save this young man from himself. What a class act.

NOT!

Either that, or he'd just inhaled a bit too much weed-mer!
