I don't recall the horrific "whoo" in the 70's or 80's; make it go away!

The wave IMO is completely cool anytime UT has put the game away. I only remember it getting going during 3rd-4th quarters with UT up by 2+ TDs. And it typically takes a while for it to really get going. You see the 4-6 failed attempts during the commercial break, and then it really gets going when the game starts back.

I have no problem with it, it looks pretty cool for the 2 minutes is rolls around the bowl.

As for the whoo - I vaguely remember it starting in the '95 timeframe. Thought it was stupid then, but since it's only the girls that do it, it's grown on me.

The "whoooo" is either redneck or of questionable sexual orientation, or both. I can't decide which. But it needs to go.
